The man who spearheaded a tree-planting effort that will result in more than three million trees being planted over a 10-year period? The man who uses running to model teamwork\, commitment and motivation by training with homeless shelter residents three times a week? Or one of the 18 other deserving Dallas-Fort Worth men doing great things for our community? Each applicant is affiliated with his favorite non-profit organization and was required to organize\, recruit volunteers for and lead a community service project benefitting that charity. Those projects will be spotlighted by each finalist at the May 10 event. The winner will be based on scores from each finalist’s community service project\, online voting results and interviews with community leader judges. The winner  will receive a $2500 Stanley Korshak gift card and his charity will receive $2500 courtesy of Whole Foods Market Dallas. The event will be hosted by Good Morning Texas host Amy Vanderoef.
